PURPOSE:To concurrently perform both mass-production and high speed production and to remarkably improve the productivity by winding a thin strip on which scores are stamped at prescribed intervals into a tube shape and radiating a laser beam to butt weld the strip. CONSTITUTION:A guide frame 4, mandrel 6, forming rollers 5a, 5a'-5c, 5c' and a laser beam source 7 are installed between pinch rollers 3a, 3b and 8a, 8b of a tubular partially-fabricated product manufacturing device 20. A medium- sized blank on which scores 1a, 1b and 1c are stamped at prescribed intervals is fed to the left end of the device 20. The blank is wound into a tube shape by the frame 4, is transferred along the mandrel 6, is welded by irradiation of a laser beam 7B during the above transfer, and is cut to make a product. The productivity is remarkably improved because both the mass-production and the high speed production are concurrently performed. |
