<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a strain free image equivalent to an image recorded without using a time sharing driving system, by shifting the arrangement of the dots of a recording head at every time sharing block in a recording direction. CONSTITUTION:When a recording signal is applied to needle electrodes 4 from a time sharing driving circuit 7 through a signal cable 8, a usual recording sheet 2 generates heat to form molten parts 11 and the molten ink of the usual recording sheet 12 formed by the generation of heat is transferred to recording paper 1 to form recording dots 12 at a pitch P. (N)-pieces of time sharing blocks are constituted of (n)-pieces of needle electrodes 4-1-4-2n like needle electrode pairs 4-1 and 4-2, 4-3 and 4-4... and the needle electrodes 4 are arranged so as to be shifted by DELTAx in a tiered form at every time sharing blocks in a recording direction (d). This shift width DELTAx is set so as to be equal to the distance of a recording head 20 moving during a period from the point of time when the recording signal is applied to a certain time sharing block to the point of time when said signal to the next time sharing block to always record the recording dots 12 on the same straight line.</p> |
