The lifting platform consists of two bellows with inlet and outlet valves, two stationary bearings, two lifting rails and four adjustable stabilizers. In the rest state, the lifting platform becomes a manageable package thanks to the folded bellows and the stabilizers which can be swung in. During use, the lifting platform, mostly made of rubber and plastic, is set in accordance with the wheelchair by the adjustable stabilizers. With a foot-operated air pump which is attached to the inlet valve, both bellows are inflated and the lifting platform is therefore put into action. The lifting operation can be repeated as desired by actuating the outlet valve.
