PURPOSE:To obtain an objective image obtained at tentative edition with excellent reproducibility at main edition by recording correction data inputted at the tentative edition on a source tape and using the correction data recorded at the main edition to attain automatic edition. CONSTITUTION:In apply the tentative edition prior to the main edition such as preview, off-line edit or simulation, an edition personnel operates a key or a dial of an input device 15 while observing a monitor receiver 17 to apply correction to a reproducing video signal such as a desired objective image and a correction data representing the content of correction processing is fed and recorded on corresponding source tapes 10a, 10b... at the same time. As the correction processing content in this case, a hue, a signal level or magnification of image and the edition personnel adjusts them while observing the monitor to obtain the color image with desired hue and level.
