PURPOSE:To stably clamp an optical connector by providing a corrugated snap ring which is formed by looping plural recess and projection plate materials having both edges curved in a ring shape. CONSTITUTION:The corrugated snap ring 22 is so formed that both ends 24 and 25 and center 26 of one side face 23a of a plate material 23 are projected and the center 26 and parts 27 between both ends 24 and 25 of the other side face 23b are projected. This plate material 23 is looped in a ring shape and the end parts 24 and 25 are put opposite each other across a proper gap and fitted in the groove 4 of a cylindrical member 2. When an optical connector 6 is connected, the ring is fitted in the groove 7 of a cylindrical member 5 while its external diameter is reduced, and while the diameter of the rear end side increased by elastic deformation, the diameter of the front side decreases, generating strong elastic force. Further, projection parts on both edges are at symmetrical positions to stabilize the clamping between the cylindrical member 5 and optical connector 6, thereby securely clamping them.
