PURPOSE:To enable stable and high-precision detection of the winding of a fiber round a roller, by using an air cylinder or hydraulic cylinder as a loading mechanism of a draft roller and detecting the pressure change in the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:For example, an air cylinder 9 is used as a loading mechanism of a top roller 1 against a bottom roller 2. When a fiber is wound round one or both rollers, the top roller 1 moves upward to pull up a rod 10 of the air cylinder 9 via hooks 4, 4' and rods 12, 12'. The inner pressure in the pressurized part 9a of the air cylinder 9 is increased thereby to actuate a pressure-difference switch 6. The operation of the driving motor 13 of a spinning frame is stopped by the electric signal transmitted from the switch 6. |
