PURPOSE:To permit the quality of soil in the excavated area to exactly judge all the time during the excavation by a method in which sensors for noise and vibration are provided to the tip of an earth auger and an frequency analyzer and a soil quality displayer are connected to the sensors. CONSTITUTION:A noise or vibration measuring sensor 6 is provided to the tip 5a of an earth auger 5 and connected with a frequency analyzer 7, a visual display 8, and a plotter 9 by adequate signal wires. Measured signals are put in the analyzer 7, and the results of analysis are displayed on the display 8 or the plotter 9. The operation of the auger 5 is controlled in accordance with the soil quality of the excavated area, and the efficiency of excavation can be enhanced. |
