PURPOSE:To perform the centralized inspection of a container, by continuously performing the deformation inspection of the container, the inspection of the flange and neck thereof and the inspection of the outer and inner surfaces thereof at the inspection station of one place in predetermined order. CONSTITUTION:An empty can 1 processed and manufactured is sent to a turret 10 from a feed-in path 11 through a timing screw 12. The confirmation part 20, deformation inspecting part 30, flange/neck inspecting part 40, outer surface inspecting part 50 and inner surface inspecting part 60 of the empty can 1 are arranged in the vicinity of the turret 10 at the interval almost same to the interval of the pockets 10a provided to the turret 10 so as to be capable of simultaneously performing inspection at the inspecting parts 30, 40, 50, 60. When the empty can 1 is present in each inspection pocket 10a, the performance signal of the succeeding inspection is transmitted to each of the inspecting parts 30, 40, 50, 60 through a control part 70 to continuously perform inspection in predetermined order.
