<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new device accurately maintaining the level of low temperature liquid in a vessel. SOLUTION: This device 10 controlling the level of low temperature liquid 14 in a vessel 12 is provided with a transfer pipe 50 to a pressure supply tank 20. When the level is under a main detector in the vessel 12, pressure pulse is added to the tank 20 at a certain speed, and when the level is over the detector, it is added to the tank at a lower speed, so that the inherent decrease of the level is compensated. At starting fixed pressure is added to the tank until the level reaches a lower detector, and a pressure relief valve 26 on the tank is opened when the level exceeds an upper detector. Disturbance in the vessel 12 is decreased by a pair of coaxial baffle plates provided on the liquid inlet to the vessel 12, and in addition by a housing having an extended part on a tube surrounding the detector.</p> |
