In an electrophotographic installation, instead of the known silicone oil moistening roller which is in engagement with a printer roller (1, 2), a flexible tube (5, 6) made of microporous PTFE is provided, which in operation bears unturnably against the printer roller (1, 2) and is filled inside with silicone oil and preferably connected to a storage container (11) therefor. The flexible tube (5, 6), when its region of contact with the printer roller (1, 2) is destructed by toner particles, can be turned in such a manner that a new unused surface strip of the flexible tube (5, 6) comes into contact with the printer roller (1, 2). <IMAGE> |
