PURPOSE:To uniformly adjust the directional posture even of an extension coil spring being long in the whole length by arranging the constitution in such a way that only a stay-shaped parts main body is housed in a housing part provided in a slider and a projection part projecting contacts with the guide slant provided in a slider guide. CONSTITUTION:An extension coil spring S is supplied to a guide groove 4 in a slider 1 from a straight advancing feeder 22 and when a sensor 23 confirms it, the sensor transmits an operation signal to an air cylinder 18 for slider. The cylinder 18 presses and energizes the slider 1 and adjusts hook parts Sb, Sb in the optional direction into in the specified direction. That is, only the spring main body Sa is housed in the guide groove 4 and the other hook Sb projecting is opposed to the horizontal face 9a of the lower part of a guide face 7. Next when the slider 1 is pressed and energized by the operation of the cylinder 18, the spring S shifts along with the shift of the guide groove 4 and when it reaches the position opposed to a guide slant 10, the other hook Sb contacts with it. And since the spring main body Sa receives torque through the hook part Sb and the hook part Sb comes near to the guide slant 10, it is adjusted in the horizontal direction.
