PURPOSE:To form a circuit, which amplifies the signal from a solid-state image pickup element, on a substrate by providing the solid-image pickup element which faces an optical element which changes the optical path in the direction approximately orthogonal to the optical axis of an objective optical system. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup system 4 incorporates many objective lenses 11, and a lens frame 12 is provided in the front end. A prism frame 14 is connected to the rear end part of the frame 12, and a right-angled prism 18 is fixed between both dies of the frame 14 by adhesion. The prism 18 converts the optical path of the light passing lenses 11 at right angles, and a soid-state image pickup element 21 whose one side face is fixed to a pair of collar parts formed in upper ends of both sides of the frame 14 by adhesion is provided in the advance direction of the light. One end part of a substrate 22 is fixed to the other side face of the element 21 by adhesion, and the other end part is fixed to one side of the prism 18 by adhesion. Electronic parts 23 constituting the circuit which amplifies the signal from the element 21 are attached to the substrate 22, and the substrate 22 is bent to surround the prism 18, and the area of the substrate 22 to the length of a hard part of the front end is increased. |
