<p>PURPOSE:To aim at improvement working properties for setting a roof panel and its setting accuracy, by forming a tongue piece, being extendedly installed a flange at the side of a window opening part of a roof rail in an end rack part, in case of the roof panel for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:Each tongue piece 53 extendedly installed in a flange 52a at the side of a window opening part of an outer pane 52 at several spots in advance is bent to the outside of a car, forming an end rack part A making a tip part of a peripheral flange 41 of a roof panel 40 contact. next, the roof panel 40 is covered from the upside of a side roof rail 50, and the peripheral flange 41 is made contact with the end rack part A and supports it, then accurately clamped by a clamp jig for joining together by welding. And, finally the tongue piece 53 is cut off or bent along another panel whereby it is removed. Thus, it is especially effective for setting the roof panel for a smooth surface car disusing a drip channel, so that improvements in working properties for setting the roof panel and its setting accuracy are promotable.</p> |
