PURPOSE:To improve the speed of a wiring processing by providing ultimate attribute information or information relating to an existing wiring (induction island information) on an idle grid on a standard grid. CONSTITUTION:The decision that there is an existing segment is performed at high speed by using an induction island N on the standard grid previously provided with respect to the existing segment. Since this is a wiring processing system which performed by passing on the standard grid M and between the standard grids M, in a wiring processing for searching a path by using the ultimate attribute information Ma set correspondingly to the idle grid of the standard grid M, the information (induction island information) Na relating to the existing wiring is provided on the standard grid M and and the path search using the existing wiring is performed by using the induction island information Na (Na-1, Na-2).
