PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a device in a negative pressure releasing device for a liquid pump utilizing siphon action by filling up a sliding surface between a rotating shaft with a valve actuated by the inclination of a float and the float with silicon grease or the like. CONSTITUTION:A float 1 made of foam plastics or the like is rotatably supported on a rotating shaft 5 with a supporting shafts 9. When the level of oil sent by a liquid pump is low, a ball 11 closes the hollow 8 of the rotating shaft 5 through a 'O' ring 10 to check communication between an air suction pipe 2 and a hollow part 6. When the oil level rises to incline the float 1 revolving round the rotating shaft 5, the ball 11 located on a communicating hole 3 separates from the 'O' ring 10 to feed air to the negative side of a liquid pump through the hollow part 6 and an air guide pipe 4 and instantly stop the function of the liquid pump. A sliding surface between the float 1 and the rotating shaft 5 is constantly filled up with silicon grease to keep excellent sealing effect. Thus certain negative pressure releasing action can be made.
