PURPOSE:To contrive the simplification of equipment and process by a method wherein excessive resin in the wound body of resin impregnated fibrous material, which is formed on a mandrel, is removed by blowing air against it. CONSTITUTION:A wound layer (w) of fibrous base material, such as glass roving, glass cloth or the like for example, is formed on a hollow mandrel 1. Air P1 is forced into an expansion air bag 1 from an air inflow tube 11 to close the penetrating holes 10,... of the mandrel. The mandrel 1 is rotated and the wound layer (w) of the fibrous base material is dipped into resin solution 30 to impregnate the resin into the layer (w). Air P2 is supplied from the air supplying tube 12 of the mandrel 1 to contract the air bag 2 and open the penetrating holes 10,... of the mandrel 1 whereby the supplied air is blown against the wound body of the resin impregnated fibrous base material. Thus, the excessive resin in the wound body is accumulated on the surface of the wound body while the resin is removed by a squeezing ring 4, a brush or the like. Accordingly, the amount of impregnated resin may be controlled to a desired amount by the regulation of the blowing pressure and its period whereby a porous resin processed fibrous tube may be obtained.
