PURPOSE:To suppress a ringing produced by the resonance of a read inductance and a resonance capacitor with a low loss by connecting a ringing control circuit in parallel with a horizontal output element. CONSTITUTION:A ringing control circuit 16 constituted of the first switching element 11, the second switching element 12, the capacitor 13, a voltage adjusting circuit 14, and a power source 15 is provided. In a fly-back period, the first switching element 11 is turned off, the second switching element 12 is turned on, and during a scanning period, the first switching element 11 is turned on and the second switching element 12 is turned off. According to this operation, a charge charged in the capacitor 13 during the fly-back period is discharged at the start of the scanning period. This discharging current Ix becomes to a spike shape waveform and by passing this spike current, the ringing produced in a current Ip passing through the incorporated diode 3 of a power MOSFET at the start of the scanning period is suppressed. |
