PURPOSE:To obtain the products of small amount and many kinds, which are high in rigidity with respect to the section of fusion cutting, without deforming the original configuration of cell holes substantially by a method wherein predetermined number of sheets of corrugated boards, made of thermoplastic resin, are laminated and are processed through fusion cutting and fusion bonding by an electrically heated wire in order to obtain a plurality of products simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Resin, used for a corrugated board, can be selected as thermoplastic resin capable of being employed for a honeycomb structural body. An electrically heated wire for fusion cutting and fusion bonding is made by a Ni-Cr wire generally and the size thereof is determined considering the property or the like of the corrugated board properly. The temperature of fusion cutting and fusion bonding are determined considering the properties of the corrugated board, however, the fusion cutting is effected under a high temperature so as to be capable of cutting it easily without applying a high pressure as much as possible since the cell holes 14 of the corrugated board are deformed in the configuration thereof when a strong pressure is applied for fusion cutting. Six sheets of corrugated boards 1, which consists of an upper surface board 11, lower surface board 12 and a harmonica type corrugated plate 13 interposed between the upper and lower surface boards 11, 12, are laminated, for example, the Ni-Cr wire 2 is heated to a predetermined temperature by adjusting electric current and the wire is contacted with the upper surface of the corrugated board from the left side thereof with an inclination whereby the fusion cutting and bonding may be effected simultaneously. |
