PURPOSE:To prevent a film which is already exposed from being exposed again and photography from being carried on without noting the trouble of a shutter by inhibiting the film from being fed once the state wherein the shutter is open although it should be closed is detected. CONSTITUTION:If the shutter is in an abnormal state, i.e. left open, a shutter switch 1 is off and if a lens barrier is also open at this time, a barrier switch 9 is off. The output of an AND gate 14 is therefore at a H level and the output of a NOR gate 13 is still at an L level; and a rewinding state setting circuit 17 does not operate and a motor driving circuit 18 never drives a motor 19. If, however, the barrier is closed even when the shutter is open and the shutter switch 1 is off, the barrier switch 9 turns on and the output of the AND gate 14 is at the L level, so that output of the NOR gate 13 goes up to H, thereby enabling the motor to be reversed.
