PURPOSE:To make the supply of oil on the periphery of spindle easier by a method in which a grease path is formed in the axis of the screw spindle of an inner screw-type gate valve, and an opening is formed in the lower end of the path for the spindle housing of the gate. CONSTITUTION:A grease path 14 is formed in the axis of a screw spindle 3 to be screwed with the nut 4 of a gate 5, and an opening is formed in the lower end of the path 14 for the speindle housing 7 of the gate 5. A grease nipple 17 is connected to the upper end of the path 14. In supplying oil, after the cap 18 of a casing 8' is removed, a grease gun is connected to the nipple 17, grease is supplied to the housing 17 through the path 14. As the gate 1 vertically moves, the grease is supplied to the periphery of the spindle 3.
