PURPOSE:To provide a bath apparatus capable of realizing a comfortable bath ing feeling by providing a branching chamber for branching a flowpath leading from the upper spout of a bathtub provided at a position higher than the water level and the lower spout provided below the water level, and flowpath switching means for distributing water or hot water from a discharge port to the upper spout of the bathtub or the lower spout thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a circulating pump 10 is driven in a state where a lid body 6 is fitted to a lower spout 5, bathtub water sucked up through a suction port 11 flows upward from a discharge port 2 via a flow-out passage 3, and flows down from an upper spout 4 in to a bathtub like a waterfall. Alternatively, water or hot water is supplied from the upper spout 4 through a hot water supplier 12. When the lid body 6 is removed from a lower spout 5, the bathtub water sucked up from a suction port 11 by a circulating pump 10 directly flows to a lower spout 5 through the discharge port 2 and is discharged into the bathtub water in the form of a jet stream, and has an effect of massaging one's body while bathing. Upon this time, the bathtub water is caused to flow in accompaniment with the jet stream through an inlet path 7 of the branching chamber 7.
