PURPOSE:To prevent much of status verification waiting time from generating in a transmission side equipment, by separating a status transfer bus from a data transfer bus, and performing the verification of a status between a transmission and a reception devices by using the status transfer bus independently from the data transfer bus. CONSTITUTION:When a data transmission request is generated in a data communication transmission/reception means, a control circuit 14 writes the data to be transmitted on a data buffer memory 11, and turns on a status transfer bus use request line 146, and outputs a request to use the status transfer bus to a status transfer bus competition arbitration circuit 4. The data communication transmission/reception means which acquires the availabilty right of a status transfer bus 3 reads whether a transfer reservation display circuit n3 in a data communication transmission/reception means n0 at a transfer opposite is reserved or not, and furthermore, whether a reception data buffer memory n2 is vacant or filled, because those are displayed on a transfer reservation state display line n31, by using a status read line 149.
