PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydromechanical hybrid type transmission having improved power transmitting efficiency in both positive and reverse drive of a load. SOLUTION: In the hydromechanical hybrid type transmission, when positively driving the load 40, the power of an engine 10 is distributed to a hydraulic transmission 14 and a power transmission shaft 22 by the engagement of a clutch CL1 and transmitted to the load 40 via both the hydraulic transmission 14 and the power transmission shaft 22. On the other hand, when reversely driving the load 40, the power of the engine 10 is distributed to the hydraulic transmission 14 and a reversing mechanism P3 by the engagement of the clutch CL2 and transmitted to the load 40 via both the hydraulic transmission 14 and the reversing mechanism P3.
