PURPOSE:To enable joining with relatively small capacity without requiring such a high vacuum as in the prior art by interposing a suitable joint member to the joint part between Ti parts and stainless steel parts. CONSTITUTION:Brazing parts 2a of joint members 2 are engaged to both ends of Ti bars 3 and the assembly in the reduced size state is heated in a furnace maintained in middle degree of vacuum and having small capacity and is thus brazed in the stage of joining the bars 3 to a stainless steel frame 1 of, for example, a Faraday shield framework for a nuclear fusion reactor. A required number of the bars 3 brazed and joined with the members 2 are engaged to the required place of the frame 1 at the weld zones 2b of the members 2 and this time an electron beam is irradiated to said parts in a furnace maintained in low degree of vacuum having large capacity by which selective fusion welding is accomplished. |
