PURPOSE:To shorten waiting time required up to the program searching of a required music by moving a pickup to the position of the specified music after releasing the depression of a key switch. CONSTITUTION:When a required music is to be played by skipping unnecessary musics in a disc or when a music already passed is to be played again, the unnecessary musics are skipped by a forward skip key 8 and a backward skip key 9, respectively. During the period that the key switch 7 or 8 is depressed, music number display 3 is periodically reduced or increased one by one, and the pickup is moved to the music displayed on the music number display 3 at the release of the key switch depression to start the play of the music. If the skip key is continued to be depressed, the music number display is periodically changed. Consequently, it is unnecessary to depress the key repeatedly and the pickup can be moved up to the specified music only by one access operaton, so that the waiting time required up to the program searching of a required music can be shortened. |
