A link comprises an elongate member 1 of generally channel- shaped cross section having a bearing carrier 4 comprising a bearing carrying part 5 and strip 6 connected thereto by folded side portions 8 and by one or more pairs of interengaging projections 11 and apertures 10. Part 5 may have an aperture for a bearing element 12. Member 1 and bearing carrier 4 may be made from metal or the latter may be made from plastics. The link, which may form part of a windscreen wiper drive transmission mechanism, is said to be relatively inexpensive to manufacture. <IMAGE> |
