PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance by arranging a mechanism for exchanging two flyers having a tape guide for leading the sequentially fed tape into a hollow shaft to be rotated alternatively at the outside of a supporting frame. CONSTITUTION:A tape winder 10 is comprised of a hollow shaft 16 for passing a linear material 1 supported rotatably by supporting frames 12, 12' and two tape containing reels 18, 18' fixed rotatably on the hollow shaft 16. Furthermore, flyers 22, 22' having guide rolls 20, 20' rotatable integrally with said reels 18, 18' and a tape guide holder 24 for guiding a tape 2 to be wound over the linear material 1 are provided. Said flyers 22, 22' are rotated alternatively by a rotary drive source 32 through an exchange mechanism 44, comprising an electromagnetic clutches 46, 46' and pulley/belt means 48, 48' and arranged together with a tension applying means 58 at the outside of the supporting frames 12, 12'. |
