<p>A snap fit button assembly includes a female and a male member adapted for becoming coupled together. A pair of tack members serves the purpose of securing each member to the respective fabric. The female member has a circular base and an integral cylindric socket. A plurality of openings extends axially through the base. They are aligned with locking projections provided in the socket. The structure provides strength and firm coupling. Also, the female member is not likely to become deformed or damaged when removed from a mold comprised of two halves.</p> |
