DEFECT DETECTING DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC DISK

PURPOSE:To easily confirm relations between the size and shape of an error detection part and a defect at the periphery in a short time by projecting the position where an error is detected on a monitor TV by a rotation control part which can stops at an optional angle and a TV camera which enlarges and photographs a recording picture of a magnetic disk plate. CONSTITUTION:The rotation control part 3 controls the rotation of the magnetic disk 1 to a prescribed speed when a start/stop command (b) from a central control part 16 indicates a stop mode, and fixes the disk 1 in response to the command (b) indicating a stop mode when a stop angle signal (c) from an error angle correction part 15 coincides with a rotational angle signal (a). A camera moving table 8 moves the TV camera 6 to a designated position with a camera movement signal (f) from the control part 16 horizontally to the recording surface of the disk plate 1 and linearly to the center of rotation; and the recording surface is enlarged and photographed 6 and the surface state is p projected on the monitor TV 7 with a video signal (d) from the camera 6. Then when a defect is confirmed on the TV 7, an operator presses a confirmation switch 17 to output a confirmation signal (p) to the control part 16.
