PURPOSE:To aim at improvemnet in operability and maintenance controllability, by taking out plural multispindle heads pooled in a magazine selectively according to machining contents of a work, and interchanging them automatically. CONSTITUTION:A magazine 1 setting each of polygonal sides down to a pool surface is attached to a spindle 2. This magazine 1 is made to perform indexing rotation at the specified angle and lifting motion at the specified stroke. With this operation, the indexing rotation is carried out and the head 7 selected according to machining contents out of the head 7 pooled in the magazine 1, is automatically interchanged with a head 43 on a setting surface of a turret rotating in an interchanging position. Positioning and clamping of the head 7 are carried out at one spot and one operation, thus operability is improvable.
