<p>A knife sheath having a launching device for signal rockets includes a shaped body which has, in its upper half, and widened region, in the interior of which there is formed a reception container with undulatory front and rear walls. The mutually opposing beads of these walls form longitudinal receptacles which are adjacent to one another and in each case permit the accommodation of two signalling rockets one above the other. The reception container is sealed off at its upper end by a lid which is combined with a carrier strap of the knife sheath and has inside blind bores as extensions of the longitudinal receptacles of the reception container, which blind bores interact with the said receptacles to accommodate the signalling rockets. In the widened region there is furthermore formed a continuous transverse aperture, in which the launching device for the signalling rockets is fastened.</p> |
