A self-stabilized climbing-iron device providing rapid and reliable progression over snow, ice, glazed ice and similar as over all uneven surfaces including a one-piece front iron intended for the sole and a rear one-piece iron intended for the heel, fixed removably respectively to the sole and to the heel, in which the front climbing-iron includes a flange (14) which has, on the one hand, points for anchoring the flange in the sole and, on the other hand, two wide front rigid extensions (19 and 20) and two oblique rear extensions (23 and 24) with slight elasticity, said front and rear extensions ending in points (21, 22, 25 and 26), and in which the rear iron is formed by a rigid flange (1) having points (9, 10, 11 and 12) for anchoring the flange in the heel, said flange being extended by four rigid branches (2, 3, 4 and 5) ending in points. |
