PURPOSE:To contrive simplification of the construction of a device, etc.,by providing a working chamber communicating with a vacuum device and disposing a hollow piston which is hermetically sealed from the working chamber in such a manner that the piston can freely move into and out of a housing chamber for crude refuse. CONSTITUTION:The working chamber l having an air vent pipe 5 is provided on a base plate 2 and a hollow cap 3 constructed to be freely opened and closed is installed via a gasket 4 to the aperture in the upper part thereof. The hollow piston 16 is mounted to the cap 3 so as to hang from the inside surface thereof and the inside thereof is communicated with the atm. through the cap 3 and a vent hole 6 and is hermetically sealed from the working chamber l. An operator opens the cap 3, installs a refuse bag 19 into the housing chamber 10, puts the crude refuse, etc., G therein, closes the cap and starts a cleaning machine 8. The liquid of the crude refuse G falls into a liquid drain pipe 15 first. A pressing surface 18 compresses the crude refuse G in the housing chamber 10 as the degree of vacuum of the piston 16 rises. The construction of the device is simplified and the post treatment such as discarding is facilitated by the above-mentioned method.
