PURPOSE:To reform output waveforms and to improve the actuating noise and stability of a pre-load spring, by providing a controlling means to limit the axial movement of a screw nonelastically. CONSTITUTION:A rotor magnet 6 performs step rotations by the magnetic force between a coil 9 and the rotor magnet 6 itself. Screws are cut to a lead screw 2, at the rearmost part of which a ball 7 is held by a pre-load spring 8 in conical recessed portion. A screw shaft 2 is inserted through bearings 4, the tip of which is supported by a pivot bearing 5 built into a holder 3 and is made rotatable. To a screw shaft an E ring 12 is fitted and the clearance A is provided so as to limit the movement of the screw shaft 2 which is going to push back the pre-load spring. Thus the axial movement of the screw shaft can be limited.
