<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the color display cell having good reproducibility of color tone by providing a color filter contg. a colored org. compd. on the color liquid crystal display cell which is mounted a semiconductive driving circuit on the display substrate integrally. CONSTITUTION:The dye color filters 6, 6' are laminated on the inner wall sides of counter substrates, for example, on drain electrodes 4'', 4''' of the substrate S mounted the semiconductor driving circuit thereon together with a protective layer 12 respectively. And, the two sheets of linearly polarizing plates 13 and 14 are provided so as to put the substrates 7 and S between the plates 13 and 14. The dye color filter 6, 6' are provided, corresponding to each drain electrodes to form a segment. Thus, by providing the dye color filter with the display cell which is mounted the semiconductor circuit on the display substrate in one body, the constitution of the layer is simplified, thereby making a color display cell practical. The titled cell having the excellent reproducibility of the color tone without depending on the directions of observation and incident light from the outside is obtd.</p> |
