PURPOSE:To obtain a product having an extremely low content of chlorine by precipitating lead carbonate from a water-soluble lead compd. under specified conditions, and the precipitating other compds. contg. chlorine as the hydroxides when a water-soluble chloride is used as at least one raw material to produce the titled perovskite-type compd. contg. lead. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble chloride is used as at least one raw material to obtain the perovskite-type compd. by the following method A or B. Namely, (A) the water-soluble lead compd. and carbon dioxide or an alkali carbonate are allowed to react with each other in >=1.1 molar ratio of Co3/Pb to precipitate lead carbonate and then other compds. contg. chlorine (e.g., titanium tetrachloride) and precipitated as the hydroxides, and (B) the compds. other than a lead compd. wherein at least one compd. contains chlorine are precipitated as the hydroxides, and then a water-soluble lead compd. is allowed to react with carbon dioxide or an alkali carbonate in the soln. contg. the precipitates in >=1.1 molar ratio of CO3/Pb to form a precipitate.
