PURPOSE:To form a multicolored image having excellent reproducibility of a black image and high resolution and clear hue by transferring the multicolored toner image to a transfer material after forming the multicolored toner image on the image forming body. CONSTITUTION:The toner image T is formed on the toner image forming body 1 by processing an electrostatic image formed with an electrostatic forming mechanism 30, with an developing mechanism 31. The toner image T formed on the toner image forming body is transferred with pressing-out force of a pressing-out roller 34 which is placed on an intermediate transferring body at a transferring range A. The heating plate 38 of the transferring material has a shape which is suitable to contact along an outer surface of the circumference of the contacting roller 37. At the time of passing the transfer material P between the surface of the pressure roller 37 and the heating plate 38 of the transfer material, as the material P is heated at a temp. somewhat higher than the melting temp. of the toner by the heating plate 38 for the transfer material, the toner image on the intermediate transferring body 33 is sufficiently transferred and fixed on the material P. |
