<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution to make a device small in size by providing a tape loading means and a tape tension applying roll to apply a certain tape tension. CONSTITUTION:After a tape cassette 2 is set to a prescribed position of the device, a recording tape 7 is pulled out from the tape cassette by tape loading guide means, namely, loading guide rolls 8 and 10 and inclined guide pins 9 and 11 and is wound along a guide drum 1. At this time, the loading guide roll 8 is brought into contact with a tape tension applying roll 20 holding there and slightly displaces it against the charging force of a spring 23 to set the contacting state. Consequently, the pulled-out tape 7 is held between both rolls. When the recording and reproducing operation is performed, the loading guide roll 8 and the tape tension applying roll 20 are rotated in accordance with running of the tape 7, and the load torque of the tape tension applying roll 20 generated by rotation is applied to the tape 7.</p> |
