PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parallel connections of series body groups consisting of series TRs and load resistances on a series regulator side by lowering the load voltages of the series TRs. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of an amplifying circuit 24 which amplifies the output signal Ia of a current setter 6 on the series regulator side in proportion to a load current Il within a range of the 1st-2nd power according to an exponential function is used as a set signal Ib. The difference between this signal Ib and the output signal Ic of a detector 27 which detects a by-pass current Ip flowing through by-pass TRs 22 (22A-22N) is detected by a subcontrol circuit 25, which outputs a control signal Id for the current Ip to the base sides of the by-pass TRs 22 through a driving TR 25A. The current flowing through the series TRs 2 (2A-2N) is controlled with the signal Id. The output voltage of a battery 9 to be tested is therefore divided into the load voltage of the TRs 2, the load voltage of load resistances 3A-3N, and the load voltage Vp of the parallel body group 21 of the series resistor 23 and TRs 22, thereby reducing the load voltage of the TRs 22. |
