PURPOSE:To attain sufficient color correction with a comparatively simple constitution by providing a correction circuit producing inputted cyan and magenta color signals from inputted R,G,B color signals and a correction circuit generating a yellow color signal. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 611 outputs a cyan component obtained by R,G color signals in a cyan component correction unit 610, a ROM 612 outputs a cyan component by R.B color signals and a ROM 613 outputs a cyan component by G,B color signals and a cyan color corrected signal C is outputted via adders 614, 615 and a ROM 616. A magenta component correction unit 620, similarly, uses the R,G,B color signals as input parameters and outputs a magenta corrected color signal M. A yellow component correction unit 630 uses a B color signal, the cyan color signal C and the magenta color signal M as input parameters and outputs a yellow corrected color signal Y. Latches 641-646 are provided to match the data timing of each color.
