<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to utilize solar heat during summer to heat bathtub water in a simple system by placing one end of a heat pipe into a bathtub or a heat exchanger for heating or a connecting section of the bath and heat exchanger and arranging the other end at the outside of a room. CONSTITUTION:A bathtub 11 and a heat exchanger 16 for heating are connected by a connecting pipe 19 in which supply hot water advances and a connecting pipe 20 in which supply hot water returns. One end of a bent pipe 21 is placed in a supply hot water return pipe 15 in a bath boiler outer fitting 17 to constitute a cooling section 21a and the other end is arranged out of the bath boiler outer fitting 17 to constitute a heating section 21b. In the above constitution in the daytime of summer the heating section 21b of the heat pipe 21 is heated by solar energy, then the heating medium which is sealed airtightly in the heat pip[e 21 becomes steam and on the other hand, when the cooling section 21a of the heat pipe 21 is cooled by the water 12 in the bathtub, the heat medium changes from stream to condensed liquid. While the steam of the heat medium changes into condensed liquid, the water in the bathtub 11 takes heat away from the heat pipe 21 to heat the water in the bathtub. The condensed liquid is returned to the heating section 21 by a capillary action separated in the heat pipe 21.</p> |
