PURPOSE:To improve the startability of an engine and the durability of a heating means, by providing a speed sensor, which detects an engine speed, and a heating time setting means which sets the heating time of intake after the engine is started. CONSTITUTION:An electrode terminal 6a of a glow plug 6, constituting a heating means, is connected with a battery 13 through a glow relay 12. A control unit 15 provides a built-in heating time setting means 16. A speed sensor 17 detects an engine speed to input an engine speed detection signal (a) to the control unit 15. The control unit 15, which detects complete explosion on the basis of the engine speed detection signal (a) from the speed sensor 17, sets the conduction heating time of the glow plug 6 by actuating the heating time setting means 16. In this way, startability of an engine and durability of the heating means can be improved. |
