PURPOSE:To improve reliability of initial position setting operation and to perform the initial position setting always in a simple constitution, by a method wherein a rotation member setting mechanism has elasticity and a confirmation processing mode of low power two-phase excitation state is installed. CONSTITUTION:A coupling member 2c between a rotary member 2 and a step motor 1 has elasticity, thereby a projection 2b at forced stop state is prevented from colliding violently with a forced stop lever 3 and bouncing. Before drive step, low power two-phase excitation is performed and confirmation processing is performed regarding whether abnormal state occurs or not. Only when occurrence of abnormal state is discriminated, the forced stop state is discriminated and the stepping motor 1 is driven. |
