In order to repair a worn sliding surface of a slide bearing or bush, caused by shaft movement, a channel (5) is formed between the worn sliding surface and the ambience (6). Liquid repair material is introduced through the channel to the area of the worn surface. - The composition of the liquid material is such that the worn declivity is filled. After insertion, the material is allowed to set, thus restoring the slide surface to an intact condition, and, if required, a lubricating channel is drilled out. |
