发明名称 SIZE CONTROLLING METHOD FOR WIRE AND STEEL BAR ROLLING
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve size control performance by operating the rotating number and gap of rolls by using a state equation of rolling and controlling the height and width sizes on the outlet side of the final stand with optimal regulator theory. CONSTITUTION:A 4-stand mill or the like is constituted of horizontal rolls 9, 11 and vertical rolls 10, 12. A loop height detector 6, guide rolls 3, 4, etc., are provided between the stands and a computer 16 for control are disposed. The computer 16 for control calculates the roll gap, tension, the height of a loop, the rotating speeds of the rolls, the outlet side height size of a finishing stand, etc., according to control time and updates the state vector. Further, the computer updates the row of the disturbance vector by using the stock temp., stock height, width, etc., measured by a thermometer 13 and a size gage 14. An optimum control input is then calculated and the control of the roll gap and rotating speed is executed. The size control performance of a rolling material is improved by the above-mentioned method.</p>
