PURPOSE:To initialize a pump device with no necessity for an equipment in the outside, by providing an artificial input signal generating part and a signal converting part in the automatically controlled pump device. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic fixed displacement pump is initialized, an artificial input signal generator is controlled to generate an artificial input signal S1' by switching a selector switch 10 to the side of a contact 18. And a control signal S2, which is fed to a pulse oscillator circuit through a limit circuit while controlled by a photo triode AC switch to generate a pulse waveform and input to an electromagnetic coil, reciprocates an electromagnetic pump member. Consequently, any necessity for preparing an external equipment is eliminated when the automatically controlled pump device is initialized.
