PURPOSE:To enhance a supply ink adjusting performance an operating properties, by a method wherein each divided piece of a blade is made of a shape memory alloy and a blade control mechanism controlling individually the contact and space of the divided pieces with respect to an ink fountain roller is provided. CONSTITUTION:While not in operation, a periphery of an ink fountain roller 1 is pressurized to eliminate a space 4 so that the tip end of each divided piece of shape memory alloy 13 of a blade prevents an ink (a) from flowing out. During operation, the each divided piece of shape memory alloy 13 is heated and deformed due to a current-passing by each current-passing controller 17 so as to tend to return to the condition being previously stored under a temperature ranging from a deformation start point As to a finish point Af. Thus, the each divided piece 13 can be adjusted so as to freely establish the space 4 by being maintained at an appropriate temperature, whereby an ink can be supplied by the amount corresponding to the space. In addition, since the divided pieces of shape memory alloy 13 are made to be individually thermally deformed so that the blade can perform free adjustment of an amount of ink to be fed toward a roll shaft, thermal deformation of the each divided piece enables a space adjustment to be freely, rapidly, and finely conducted to remarkably enhance a supply ink adjusting performance and operating properties. |
