PURPOSE:To effect the necessary minimum and sufficient discharge of air by a method wherein an air discharging fan is driven under a set revolving number and a set driving period of time when a door for a toilet is opened and closed while the same fan is controlled so as to be driven under the set revolving number and driving period of time of the fan upon using water when the use of the water is detected. CONSTITUTION:When an user enters into a room, a signal is inputted into a fan control unit 3 from an opening and closing detecting unit 1 and a fan 4 is driven under the revolving number of 300rpm for a set period of time. Subsequently, when a flush valve 6 is operated after using a stool, a signal is inputted into the fan control unit 3 from a water use detecting unit 2 and the fan 4 is driven under the revolving number of 600rpm for a set period of time from this time. Air discharging conditions, which cope with respective using states of the fan, can be set respectively in the forms of the driving period of time and the revolving number of the air discharging fan, therefore, the necessary and sufficient discharge of air may be effected while discharging smell surely and energy saving may be achieved.
