<p>PURPOSE:To provide a foreign matter removing device capable of completely back washing filter members and being installed even at a narrow space by partitioning the inner part of a drum body into passages using partition plates, arranging filter members, capable of being installed slantly rotary type valve bodies, and a discharge pipe 19, causing cooling water to pass along other passage during back washing of one filter member, and washing to discharge foreign matters accumulated in filter members by a part of water. CONSTITUTION:At the normal operation time, rotary type valve bodies 14 and 15 are placed in parallel to a cooling water flow line and cooling water flows into both partitioned passages and foreign matters are removed by filter members 12 and 13. In a case where foreign matters in cooling water are accumulated in filter members 12 and 13 and the detected differential pressure rises up to a first set differential pressure at which an operation to wash filter members 12 and 13 is to be started, the rotary type valve body 14 is actuated to be placed at a closed position by a signal from a control unit 100, and at same time, a discharge valve 19 is opened, a part of cooling water which has flowed through the filter member 13 exfoliates foreign matters 25 contained in the filter member 12 and discharges the same together with cooling water to a cooling water outlet pipeline 7 via a discharge pipe 17.</p> |
