The invention concerns a turntable which incorporates a face-plate, a mechanism for turning this, and a mechanism for locking off the face-plate's position. The mechanism for turning the face-plate (13) consists of a transformer (1-7) for the conversion of swing movements to turning movements, whilst the face-plate (13) is built up from a centre-part (18) and a side-part (19) which engages with the centre-part along a ring shaped support surface (20). The mechanism (14) for the locking off of the face-plate's (13) position combines with the side-part (19). Two coaxial permanent magnets (29, 30) having different polarities are set against each other, whereby one magnet is secured on the face-plate's (13) centre-part (18) and the second magnet is secured on a bowl shaped container.<IMAGE> |
